Forum background development

Hey guys, I've been tasked with making the forum look a bit better. What do you think of this so far?

I would like to have a better banner at the top but need the art work for that.

I was also thinking of having some characters along the sides?

Any ideas for improvements would be appreciated ad I'll try to work on them

sure, I can work on that. So your suggesting having the whole block white? I might try have it so each part is sectioned off ie. block fort chat box title, block for users in chat, block for chat text and another for the font/smiley/type message bit. I think just plain white would be a bit boring so break it up a bit

Been busy starting my new job this week which I work away from home during the week so I can't get onto my PC to work on it. Planning to work on it over the weekend.

Won't take me long to add the white to the chat box, do you have any other ideas as to what you want added? I would like to get the artwork for the logo so I can make a banner for the forum

ok i've added the chatbox background, working on the banner, just need to know the font type but you can see what im trying to achieve

Any other suggestions?

Only thing i see Simon is to add one of our logos or something down at the bottom where it shows who's online. Right now, its just an empty space

cool, I'll have to try figure out how far the page scrolls down so I can get the right position for the logo, might ask twinky about that
